Top 5 Stress Relievers for Men

Unease, anxiety, tension, stress, & worry — all forms of fear — are cause by too much future, and not enough presence. Eckhart Tolle As a man how do you handle stress or as a woman how do you see men handling stress? What are the top stress relievers for men? Men and women handle stress differently. Women make friends and talk out their feelings which increase their oxytocin. They feel good when their needs become met or they help others get their needs met. We as men, on the other hand, shut down and retreat inside to find solutions. As men, we feel good as our testosterone levels raise through achievement. We look for solutions as stress relievers. Do you have a ritual to separate the chaos of work from the comfort of home? Do you change your clothes, shower, rest or zone out to distress? Any ritual you enjoy will do. Do something even if you work at home to separate work from being at home. Let’s look at what I see as the top stress relievers for men.

How Can Angels Best Help Healing Inner Child Trauma?

Soul Retrieval and Angel Healing for Your Inner Child How can angel healing for your inner child help soul retrieval? How can angels help us heal our inner child traumas ? What is soul retrieval? Shamanic healers perform soul retrieval as a main service. The shamans recover the person’s vital life force, lost or stolen, which can create physical or emotional illness. The integration after the retrieval takes time. It has always been the role of the shaman to go into an altered state of consciousness and track down where the soul fled to in the alternate realities and return it to the body of the client. Sandra Ingerman If a stolen part had the quality of love, we may have grown up with a closed heart or a heart-wall – the protective emotional barrier around our heart – this creates a challenge in giving and receiving love. When the missing quality returns, we can begin to learn how to love, over time. We, as adults, have survived our childhood traumas. Yet, we still suffer with various soul splits as a result of these traumas which require soul retrieval. We can, however, as an adult travel back in time and reconnect with aspects of our inner child who split off from its core self as a result of trauma. We have the strength to assist our wounded child to heal.

Energy Healing: What Secrets Should You Know About Emotions?

Energy Healing  Emotional healing led me to study energy healing, which took me beyond my mind and psychology. For over forty years, I have received assistance in emotional and energy healing. The best way out is always through our emotions and feelings. The best way out is always through. Robert Frost, A Servant to Servants Most of us as children, however, grew up in families where we have been taught to hide, repress, and suppress our feelings. We have little or no skills in expression and communication of our feelings. Many times the family environment tends to be an unsafe place to voice anything. Western society seldom honors being vulnerable or the honest healthy expression of feeling. The following describes briefly my journey from numbness to being willing to feel, express, and be more present with whatever feelings or sensations I experienced in my body. I grew up with an alcohol abusing father whose unvoiced pain dominated my mother and four younger siblings. Shouting matches between my parents over my father’s drinking was interspersed with periods of silence where everyone retreated inwardly to their separate corner of the two story farm-house. An atmosphere of emotions of anger, rage, fear, and depression ruled. I withdrew for safety, numbed all types of feelings, including suppressing anger, and became depressed without ever knowing it. I avoided expressing any types of emotions, for emotions meant pain. In later life, friends commented on my “stone face.”

Top Stress Relievers for Men, Dads, and Stay-At-Home Dads

I wonder what stress relievers for men work best? What methods serve as your main stress relievers? As men when stressed, we tend to run away from our feelings, push them into our unconscious, or when pushed beyond our limits blow up in a rage. Men, in general, seek the company of other men in some activity like golf or watching a football game to escape their stress and get relief. Parents also have stress filled lives, including dads and stay-at-home dads (SAHD). Dads who work in companies or own them have the stress of work responsibilities, as well as even the well-being of employees. SAHD have a variety of other stresses different than men and dads such as cleaning, cooking, child care, laundry and even home schooling. One major stressor for stay-at-home dads revolves around frustration with the cleanliness of the house. Their wives feel that the home isn’t being cleaned to their standards.

Stress Relief: 5 Top Useful Best Tips for Women & Men

Stress Relief – What is the connection between stress and disease? Research has shown that stress starts at a cellular level in the DNA. Our DNA holds the destructive energy of our unconscious beliefs and feelings. This energy creates stress, which decreases our energy flow and over time affects our emotional health, as well as our physical body with chronic disease. To learn more see The Healing Code by Loyd and Johnson. What are the top stress relief tips for women? Women when stressed tend to reach out to other women for emotional support and express their feelings. Women like to talk about their feelings and tell their stories, usually to other women. Self-Sabotage

How to Stop the Roots of Your Self-Sabotage

Self-sabotage is when we say we want something and then go about making sure it doesn’t happen. ~ Alyce P. Cornyn-Selby I’d like to share with you an interview I had with Michael David Lawrience when I got to ask him about the topic of stopping the roots of self-sabotage. Anne Lyken-Garner : How Do We Stop the Roots of Self-Sabotage? Michael: We can start to become aware of our unconscious beliefs through reprogramming methods such as the one explained in Carolyn Ball’s book, Claiming Your Self-Esteem. We can also use ways to dissolve and release these beliefs once we become aware of them. One way is Byron Katie’s, The Work, which has 4 questions for releasing beliefs which no longer serve us. The Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT – also has a method for dealing with subconscious objections or yes-buts that may arise to sabotage the positive affirmations used as part of the EFT. Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, calls the yes-buts “tail enders.” EFT combines tapping certain acupressure points on the body while repeating a specific choice statement to release physical or emotional issues. The method would include the original statement and an antidote to the tail ender. For example, the original choice: “I choose to be successful in my business.” The tail ender: But if I am successful other people will ridicule me the way my father used to.” The antidote: I choose to feel respected even when I am successful.” The final statement: I choose to feel respected even when I am successful in my business.” Self-sabotage has its roots at a cellular level in our DNA. Many of our beliefs, images, and memories remain unconscious at this level. They may come from the DNA of our parents or from painful or traumatic events we experienced as children. How can we access and dissolve these self-sabotage patterns at the level of the DNA? Lyn O’Hara, a radiatory healer, radiates energy from the divine through her heart chakra into the auric field and body of the client. She then asks permission to enter the clients DNA into held patterns of trauma. The trauma then releases without any pain. Lyn further assists by asking questions for the client to gain realizations. Another way of dissolving the roots of self-sabotage patterns is through the self-healing positions described in The Healing Code by Loyd and Johnson. Self Sabotage
Self-Sabotage

How Do You Create Subconscious Self-Sabotage?

I’d like to share with you an interview I had with Michael David Lawrience when I got to ask him about the topic of recognizing self-sabotage and the causes of self-sabotage. Anne Lyken-Garner: How Can We Recognize Our Self-Sabotage Behaviors? Michael: We all have our ways of perceiving the world from our core beliefs, conscious and unconscious. We create our experiences to confirm the truth of our perceptions. We may have a core belief that we will never succeed at anything we do. So we set up our outcomes to prove that we will never succeed and thereby self-sabotage any possibility of success and we keep creating obstacles to our success on an unconscious level. If for example we start a new relationship, expecting it to fail like all our previous ones than it probably will and we get to be right. Rather than continuing to create a false paradigm, we could choose to look at our core beliefs and “truths” to assess their degree of truth.

Overcome-Fear

How to Overcome Your Fear? Embrace It

Overcome Your Fear Sri Bhagavan of the Oneness University in India teaches any feeling or sensation experienced fully in the present moment will eventually transform into joy. This includes the most challenging situations or intense emotions. This is also the way to overcome your fear. Robert Tennyson Stevens, Conscious Language also says that any emotion fully felt will turn into its strength, grief into joy, fear into confidence, and pain into love. When we stop resisting pain and surrender, Divine Grace can enter our bodies. Contraction ends and a flow of energy opens, allowing change and the opportunity to overcome your fear. I have experienced this. To allow this transformation involves a mastery of staying in the center of a feeling. It means neither going out of body nor drowning in the feeling. We can understand the above experience better by seeing a surfer in the curve of a big wave, perfectly balanced on his board. He neither gets tossed up into the air nor does he get submerged under tons of water. It is impossible to stop fear or pain in our lives. When, however, we learn to experience our emotions fully, we take charge of them and also overcome your fear. When we practice staying present with whatever emotion or pain arises in our bodies and master this, we experience something different, inner stillness. We still have thoughts. Now, however, we accept them without resistance. Sri Bhagavan calls this experience of inner stillness, bliss, calm, peace. I have felt this peace, for brief minutes, sitting with a group of people going about their activities. According to Bhagavan with stillness no energy gets lost. Thus, we feel this stillness as calm. We have accepted the reality of our feelings. On the other hand, Bhagavan says when we resist our inner thoughts or feelings this fight uses a lot of energy and we experience pain, suffering, and conflict. Would you like more joy in your life or to overcome your fear? Practice this meditation daily or at least when intense feelings come up. The best way out is always through, said the poet Robert Frost. The best way to overcome your fear or any emotion is by: 1. Become aware of them. When we push them away they become stronger. 2. Accept your feelings. 3. Focus on the sensations in your body, however vague. 4. Pick one sensation and stay focused on it. 5. Resist any desire to change what you feel. Allow it to be. 6. Sit and feel the sensations without doing anything to change them. 7. If you start to think about the past or future, come back to feeling the sensations in your body. 8. Stay with the sensation until it transforms on its own without you doing anything. This may take for example, 30 minutes, 3 days, 3 weeks, or 3 months. As you have time keep coming back to the sensation, feeling, or issue until it transforms. Note: If you have a connection with the Divine you can call Divine Grace or a Divine Being you associate with to assist. https://www.emotionalhealthtips.com/emotions-feelings/ https://www.emotionalhealthtips.com/victim-rescuer-abuser/ BOOKS Michael David Lawrience is the author of Emotional Health: The Secret from Drama, Trauma, and Pain His book provides ways to improve emotional health, ease pain, and stress, heal physical and emotional abuse, and spiritual awakening.
