How Do Your Subpersonalities Create Emotional Pain?

subpersonalities

subpersonalitiesAs a child when some of our needs were never met, we create subpersonalities – someone different than our real self. We may have become the clown, invisible lost child, hero or the caretaker in our family to adapt and survive.

These false selves, masks, or subpersonalities carry over into our adult lives. As a child they helped us, so we can honor them for that service. They, however, now create emotional pain in our relationships and decrease our measure of happiness.

You may better know subpersonalities as moods or eccentricities of yourself or your family or friends. There he goes acting like a clown again or He thinks he knows it all.

This false self or subpersonality becomes second nature and emerges as stress triggers emotional childhood pain within us. Healing begins when we choose to become aware of our own subpersonalities.

At first, it may be easier to notice the subpersonalities we have seen in others. Later on you may begin to become more aware of your own.

Subpersonalities and Chakras

How do suchakrasbpersonalities relate to our chakras?

You may ask, What is a chakra? A chakra exists as a wheel-like force of energy. The main chakras, seven in number, connect to our physical body and organs. The more life force spinning through a chakra determines the greater the state of our physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

Since our subpersonalities decrease our power, they also interfere with the healthy functioning of our chakras.

The following table shows the main qualities of chakras, positive and imbalanced.

Note: Some subpersonalities can relate to more than one chakra. The above chart shows a few main subpersonalities, they number in infinite variations. The chart may assist you in recognizing your own subpersonalities.

In conclusion, subpersonalities decrease our life force which flows through our chakras. Also, as seen in the description of the chakras subpersonalities affect all areas of our lives such as work, communication, personal power, love, trust and connection to others, and our connection to our spiritual selves.

Tips: 1. Recognize Subpersonalities. If you want to become more aware of your subpersonalities, see which ones you identity from the above chart. Then write down names for your different moods and behaviors. As some remain unconscious to us, get a friend or non-judgmental family member to help you.

2. Observe Subpersonalities in Action. Notice what triggers your subpersonalities. Notice if they related to your childhood. Notice how they create emotional pain in your relationships and work. Write your observations in a daily journal.

3. Begin Healing your Subpersonalities.
