Solitude vs Loneliness
Solitude removes us from the mindless humdrum of everyday life. It reconnects us:
- With ourselves
- Our deepest humanity
- With the world of nature
- Joy of being alone
Something has been out of syn for a long time in our outer world. Most of us fight to survive to have the smallest needs of shelter, food and even clean drinking water. Good affordable health care remains another issue.
We can, if we choose. It is a choice to go inside ourselves. We can fight with those close to us, avoid them or go into the separation of loneliness.
Our families or school systems never taught us about how to feel or how to understand our emotions. They never showed us how to change “negative” thoughts. They never showed us how to express ourselves in a healthy way.

Overcoming Loneliness
When we make the decision to stop feeling so disconnected and alone in our suffering, we have the 1st step. This will assist your inner growth to overcome loneliness and suffering.

- Ask on an inward level for those people, angels, methods that will aid you
For over 60% of my life, I felt separate and alone, even in groups of people. I, yet, never felt loneliness.
- Enjoyed going inside and experiencing the solitude of my inner world
- Practiced meditation, yoga and being in nature
- Explored emotional and mental beliefs with mediation and energy healing
- Advance consciousness through many spiritual studies
Now married for over 25 years, both my wife and I enjoy time together talking and each other’s company. We also spend a majority of time apart in the house in solitude. We meditate, rest, and pursue our individual interests.
Solitude a Gift
Instead of feeling loneliness in your solitude see this time as a gift to go inside yourself. Get to know your inner self. Develop a stronger sense of your inner self, pleasant or unpleasant. As a result, you will feel more connected. Then when you enter the outer world again you may sense a stronger connection with others.
