7 Tips: How to Achieve the Gift Of Emotional Freedom From Personal Will

Personal Will or ego represents our left brain nonstop critical chatter. It is our body and subconscious. It is our emotional reactions to others. Also, it reveals judgments of self and others. We feel: less than; never good enough; unloved.
Our will/ego looks for only outer pleasures. Yet, more money and possessions never please.

Example of Personal Will

Personal WillWe may know a child who always hungers. This child always clamors for more. The child’s empty pit of a stomach never ever receives enough. They lash out in anger, temper tantrums or incessant crying. The child runs the parents’ lives.
In childhood we experience conditioning by our parents, school and society. Our parents’ approval often becomes based on what we do rather than our unique inner gifts.
We also carry the traumas of our parents. As adults this lives in our psyches. It is our inner child. This child may run our adult lives. It may show up as codependency, wanting to control, and patterns of anger and victim etc.
As adults, we drag out traumas along behind us. Sometimes we act as adults. Other times, we act from the programming of our inner child. As adults, we have the responsibility to heal our own inner child. We choose to parent that child. Or we can continue blaming our parents.
As adults, personal will always strives having more. More is never enough.
Do you want to break free of the tyranny of personal will(pain)? Which do you want: Peace or Control?

Where is Inner Peace?

Peace requires finding the power and balance in our second chakra. Our second chakra lies about 2 inches below our navel. Peace requires balance of second chakra. Balancing peace involves both our minds and heart.

Achieving Freedom from Personal Will

1. Be the adult to your inner child.
2. Become aware of childhood repeating patterns
3. Use patterns to see life lessons to learn
4. Heal and nurture the child
5. Notice misery and “Doing” rather than “Being” and enjoying life
6. Listen to child and let child express
7. Encourage the child to connect to Divine Grace/Love at 8th chakra
