With an active pain body, material or worldly success may feel empty or meaningless. You may feel empty inside; more is never enough. Some of us because of intensity of pain or loss turn inside to explore our spiritual depths. This brings great teachings.
Relationships, although challenging, mirror the pain that dwells in our unconscious. We have the choice to use these mirrors to heal our pain.
You can make a choice to begin dissolving your emotional pain patterns. This is a simple power of choice.
When we resist this opposes life. Say “Yes” to what occurs each moment. Then notice how your life flows more easily.
We only have choice when we let go of identifying with our minds. We need more awareness/mindfulness to dissolve the past conditioned emotional patterns.
To Begin to Dissolve your Pain
- Focus your awareness on what you feel inside your body. This is the pain body.
- Accept and be with the feeling or sensation.
- When you become Aware of analyzing, judging or thinking, continue being the observer. Stay with the present moment.
- Be aware of the emotional pain and also being the Observer/Witness. Be the witness – “the silent watcher.” This watcher represents your conscious presence.
Cultivate being the silent watcher of your actions, thoughts and moods. The watcher dwells beneath all our thinking. Practice the art of stillness underneath all your mental noise.
