Jupiter-Saturn Great Conjunction
This great Conjunction, Dec. 21, 2020, manifests as the closest observable since 1226!
The Conjunction, on Dec. 21, involves Jupiter and Saturn. These two planets separate by 0.1 degree. They may appear as a single point to the naked eye. Hence the name, by some, “Christmas star.”
Some also call this conjunction the Star of Bethlehem. The Star followed by the Magi/Astrologers in 7 BCE (before Christ).
This “star” showed the Magi the place of the next birth of their teacher Zoroaster. Zoroaster means “golden star.”
Perhaps the “Christmas Star” heralds a positive message beyond 2020. “On Earth peace, good will toward men (humanity).
I believe the “Christmas Star” offers us a choice for awakening to a new birth. A rebirth of humanity and the Earth.
This rare event is special because of how bright the planets will be and how close they get to each other in the sky. Nahum Arav, Astronomer
Jupiter and Saturn, in the Western hemisphere, will appear low. In the Western sky look about an hour after sunset Dec. 16 – 25.
Jupiter- Saturn Conjunction in Capricorn
I discuss the planets aspects of esoteric astrology/astrosophy. This comes from the teachings of Rudolf Steiner. Steiner in his lectures on astrology laid out new forms of star and nature wisdom.
Saturn and Jupiter function as keepers of plan for human evolution.
Jupiter and Saturn conjunction occurs in the earth sign of Capricorn.
Jupiter Conjunction
Jupiter indicates Wisdom and Morality – right and wrong or lack thereof. As a human archetype it represents our inner King or Queen qualities.
Our archetype shows an aspect of our inner Divine essence. We all have this essence hidden in our inner hearts. In esoteric terms: the 3-Fold Flame blue/yellow/pink. This flame represents our Divine wisdom, love and power. Some call this the Divine Spark/I AM.
The King/Queen represents true authority. This authority isn’t control over others. This means giving up outer control. It reveals itself in connection to our inner authority. The guidance/inspiration coming from our soul or Divine Essence.
Have you ever experienced this?
Jupiter also points the way to come together in community. Indigenous Peoples live this way for the good of all.
Saturn Conjunction
Saturn reminds us through our karma of our personal life path. Karma indicates what we have agreed to learn in this lifetime. This requires unwinding our trauma and wounds. Do you get caught up in your drama and blaming others? Or are you able to go inward and listen to your Divine Essence? What is it telling you about how to heal your wounds/shadows?
Have you paid attention to learning from your life?
Saturn holds our memory of Divine Essence. It embraces the blue mantle/love: the archetype of the Divine Feminine. This Feminine has many names; Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and Guadalupe. Some know her also as Hathor, Isis, Shekinah, Imma etc.
When we surrender completely, Feminine Divine Grace enters within us. Our life becomes guided by the Divine.
Through Saturn memory of past events/karma become illuminated. Illumination by Jupiter’s Wisdom.
Capricorn
Capricorn embodies the Earth element. It personifies devotion to the Earth and all her life. Also, the fierce Mother within who stands her ground. The Feminine who bends like a willow to move with the flow of life.
Conclusion:
In 2020 we have faced a struggle with our lower instincts. The instincts of fear, hatred, selfishness, and survival. Will we now rise up together in “peace and good will” for all humanity?
Jupiter and Saturn express creative shaping of life into the future. The future of our next positive evolutionary cycle.
Will we choose to awaken and create what is for the Highest Good of All on Earth?
